I woke up this morning feeling a lot excited and a little nervous - very much like I'm about to go on a roller coaster. The last couple times I've felt like this was before traveling to developing countries (no Europe for me yet, only places as different as possible) or before driving across the country with all my worldly possesions in the back of a 4 door car, not knowing who or what I'd find.
... and it. Feels. GREAT! Clearly, I should be going on more (crazy) adventures more often, don't you think?
Anyway, today we are leaving for Lone Pine where we will be meeting up with Aaron's Dad who is going to be driving us to Yosemite Valley the following day. I'm very excited that someone I know and like will be driving us the final leg of the trip instead of a bunch of random bus drivers. We have a SPOT gps messenger and will be using it's tracking function daily. This means that there will be a google satelite map updated with our whereabouts every 10 minutes or so to create this "breadcrumb" trail of where we have been. Here is the link for that:
Our SPOT shared page
If that page doesn't work, try this page. Same thing, different web address:
Our SPOT adventures page (click on "full screen" to reach a similar looking page)
I will also be writing in a journal and taking entirely too many pictures and videos during our trip, some of which I will share on this blog upon our return!
Say a little prayer that our feet and ankles hold up - see you later!
